My past painful experience in sourcing printed products
Today I want to talk to you about my original intention of starting a online printing business. I was a passionate event planner when I was studying in Nilai University. As the chairperson of the event, I need to deal with many things. Among them, the most painful and troublesome thing is to negotiate the details of the printed product with the printing company.
I remember very clearly. It took me 2 weeks to confirm with all print shops and agencies regarding the details and quotations of the printed materials required for my event. That is because the printing industry is too extensive and not centralized. The printer that prints clothes does not provide flyer printing, and the printer that prints flyers does not provide banner printing and so on.
This is not the worst thing. The worst thing is that most of the printers I contacted do not provide real-time quotes; I need to contact them by phone and email to confirm prices. After getting the price, I can’t confirm the reasonableness of the price at all, and I don’t want to repeat the price comparison because it is terrible. This makes my experience of purchasing printed products extremely poor.
How I Started Online Printing Business
I believe this is not a problem that I encountered alone. Most people are likely to be very painful and irritable when purchasing printed products. Therefore, when I graduated from diploma and went to UCSI University to continue my studies, I was determined to build an online printing platform to solve the pain points.
I had no funds, no technology, no cooperating printing houses, and no customers but only created a Facebook Fan Page at the beginning. In these three years of hard work, we have developed an online printing platform, allowing users to instantly understand the materials, prices, and delivery dates of printed products.

Today, our customers can place orders online to complete the purchase of printed products through SenangPrint, without going out. We have helped more than 400 small business owners and event planners to save time and money in terms of printing procurement. This is why I am proud and willing to give up my high-paying job as a software engineer
I believe that through our enthusiasm, we can use technology to solve the pain points of printing, improve industrial efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the purchasing experience.
